Lucas Pérez Gomis | Spanish teacher in Sitges

Lucas Pérez, a teacher born and raised in Sitges
Following the steps of my grandmother and my mother. The inspiration to my journey.
Today, I work with adults who live in Sitges and want to feel more confident using Spanish in their daily life.
What I enjoy most is helping people not just learn the language, but understand how life works here. Sitges is a very special place, and the language is a big part of feeling at home.
I also organise walking tours and local experiences in Sitges. It’s a different way to practise Spanish, meet people and connect with the town beyond the classroom.

I was born in Sitges in 1995 and I studied at the Lycée Français Bel Air. From a young age, I’ve always been interested in languages and in the way people from different places communicate and connect. My relationship with teaching started in a very natural way.
My grandmother and my father were both Spanish teachers, so I grew up around this profession and learned about it from a very young age. Over time, I developed my own way of teaching, keeping that same passion but adapting it to real life.
I’ve always been interested in languages and in the way people connect through them. That’s what led me to start teaching Spanish and sharing not only the language, but also the culture behind it.
