Spanish Level Test: find out your real level
Welcome to the Spanish level test.
This test will help you quickly and clearly understand your current level of Spanish, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the official system used across Europe to measure language competence.
The goal of this test is to guide you: you’ll find out whether your level corresponds to A1, A2 or B1, the three key stages to communicate confidently in everyday life in Spain.
What does this test measure?
This online Spanish test evaluates your grammar, vocabulary, and general understanding of the language through 30 questions.
Each block represents a CEFR level:
-
A1 (Beginner): You can understand and use everyday expressions and simple sentences. You can introduce yourself, talk about your family, your job, your routines, and ask for basic information.
-
A2 (Elementary): You can communicate in daily situations, describe your surroundings, talk about past experiences, and express simple opinions.
-
B1 (Intermediate): You can understand conversations and texts on familiar topics, use different tenses (present, past, future), and take part in real conversations with native speakers.
How does it work?
Each level includes 10 questions, and each correct answer is worth 10 points.
Your final score will show what percentage you achieved at each level:
A1 → 80 % A2 → 60 % B1 → 40 %
This helps you easily see how much you master at each stage and whether you’re ready to move forward or strengthen your base.
There’s no time limit – take it calmly and you’ll see your result instantly.
